Our statutory consultations are now closed.

Our statutory consultation for the Morgan and Morecambe Offshore Wind Farms: Transmission Assets project is closed on 23 November 2023. Our statutory consultations for Morecambe Offshore Windfarm Generation Assets (“Morecambe”) and Morgan Offshore Wind Project Generations Assets (“Morgan”) closed on Sunday 4 June 2023. These projects are two new offshore wind farms being developed in the Irish Sea.

These two wind farms will together generate almost two gigawatts (GW) of energy. To minimise impacts, the Morecambe and Morgan projects are working cooperatively to deliver a single common onshore connection point and are therefore collaborating on the design and delivery of the transmission assets for both projects.
