Morgan Offshore Wind Project Generation Assets is a joint venture between JERA Nex bp and Energie Baden-Württemberg AG (EnBW) to develop a wind farm in the Irish Sea.
Morecambe Offshore Windfarm Generation Assets is under full ownership by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP). Copenhagen Offshore Partners (COP) are the exclusive global offshore wind development partner to CIP and will now be leading the development and construction for the wind farm in the Irish Sea.
Morgan and Morecambe Offshore Wind Farms: Transmission Assets refers to the offshore and onshore assets that will be used to transport electricity from the Morgan and Morecambe Offshore Wind Farms to the National Grid substation at Penwortham.
Mona Offshore Wind Project is another offshore wind farm being developed by JERA Nex bp and EnBW in the Irish sea, off the coast of North Wales.

The examination period for the Morgan Offshore Wind Project closed on 10 March 2025. The application was then granted development consent by the Secretary of State on 29 August 2025.
The Morecambe Offshore Windfarm is currently awaiting a decision from the Secretary of State. The examination period for this project closed on 23 April 2025 and the Examining Authority has since made its recommendation to the Secretary of State.
The examination period for Morgan and Morecambe Offshore Wind Farms: Transmission Assets closed on 29 October 2025 and the project is currently awaiting its recommendation from the Examining Authority.
